Join IWA Europe

The IWA Europe serves as the meeting place for companies active or interested in the delivery of multimedia (audio and video) services to consumers or business customers via the Net.

Companies that will benefit from joining the IWA Europe include Content companies - radio and television broadcasters, Webcasters, IPTV, Net TV and Net Radio, streaming media and any other content company interested in audio and video distribution; User companies that webcast for internal corporate purposes, Technology companies - software publishers, hardware manufacturers and network providers, Portals / Content Aggregators, and Content Owners

The IWA Europe provides the following to its members:

  • Regular Industry meetings and networking sessions with guest speakers
  • The exchange of insights among fellow members on technology, marketing practices, and business operations through email and discussion forums
  • Discounts to industry events, conferences, publications, products and services
  • A Newsletter on association and industry activities
  • Representation of webcasting and streaming media interests before government and the media.

A flexible dues structure has been designed to make membership affordable for nearly any company or organisation involved with Webcasting. Companies join based on their webcasting role and size in annual revenue (See Online Application Below).

To join, you need to select from one of three categories of members - Content Providers / User Organisations, Educators / Entrepreneurs, and Suppliers.

Content Providers / User Organisations - Any company which makes use of webcasting or streaming media technologies to deliver their own content to inform, communicate with, or entertain their customers, members or employees.
Annual Dues........850 euro

Educators / Entrepreneurs - Educational institutions and any company whose total revenue or budget is 250,000 euro or less. Any university or college can join at this special rate. Membership benefits apply to the member school's professors, full-time graduate students with ID and administrators.

Annual Dues .....................300 euro

Suppliers - Any company whose business is in the following areas - hardware, software, network, aggregators and service bureaus - and all other companies whose primary business is webcasting and streaming media and not producing their own original content, will pay dues based on the following tiered dues structure.

Dues are based on the annual revenue or budget, whichever is greater, of the organisation joining the association:
Revenue less than 1 million euro 1,000 euro Annual Dues
Revenue between 1 - 5 million euro 2,500 euro Annual Dues
Revenue between 5 - 10 million euro 5,000 euro Annual Dues
Revenue over 10 million euro 8,000 euro Annual Dues

Dues cover a 12 month period beginning with the month that the dues are received.
